The Christian Catholic Church

The Christian Catholic Church of Switzerland writes about itself (our translation):

“The Christian Catholic Church of Switzerland is the country’s third largest Church and is recognised in most cantons alongside the Roman Catholic and the Reformed Church. As a result of its history, it sees itself as an alternative to hierarchically structured Catholicism oriented to Rome. It resulted from the protest by liberal Catholics towards the dogmas of papal infallibility and the Pope’s full and supreme power of jurisdiction over the whole Church proclaimed by the First Vatican Council in 1870. These were not accepted as changes to traditional beliefs.”
